Monochrome maxi

With the longest day out the way summer is officially here and maxi season may commence. Hurrah! Maxi dresses compliment all figure shapes its just about finding the right style for you; I opted for this slinky jersey maxi, the tribal print compliments my body’s curves in the most ‘family appropriate’ way possible. With a beautiful bugle beaded neckline it is easy to dress up for the evening or easy wear for the daytime; I didn’t want to over accessories in this heat so my earrings were the only add on. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I’m thinking its time to get creative with cocktails!

Tian Tan Buddha

The Tian Tan Buddha in Hong Kong. Magic is in every corner; you just need to take your time and look a little closer, this earth is too beautiful for us to feel bored and uninspired.

Golden Gates

London has many visual delights to offer, last weekend my beau and I strolled through the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden’s bars popped into Cantina Laredo for dinner (one of the tastiest Mexican restaurants around town) and then headed down to Kensington gardens.
Located opposite The Royal Albert hall; these grounds are beautiful, home to one of London’s most extravagant monuments; The Albert Memorial, gilded gates surround a bronzed statue of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband. Amazing detail and beautiful craftsmanship, a lovely slice of British history.

For a while now I have been building up my white shirt collection, I love them. A simple white shirt adds instant freshness to any outfit; I’m convinced I look slightly more tanned against white too, bonus! I teamed this relaxed fit blouse with easy wear joggers and added a pop of colour with caged heels, a chilled and comfy vibe, ideal for the early afternoon dates that turn into late nights.

Summer Haze

Summer is well and truly on its way, our evenings are lighter than ever and the warmth of the sun is lifting most Londoners in to positivity, I encountered smiles and nods on my commute to work, which means there is definitely something in the air! (F.Y.I - London underground isn’t the friendliest of places during rush hour)
This past Sunday was bliss; it was a casual ‘creased’ Sunday, throwing on anything comfortable and just relaxing. It was the type of day where time slows down so you can enjoy the sunshine, watch tiny particles float by in the summer haze and soak up some much-needed Vitamin D.
